Andrea Armstrong
Andrea Armstrong has danced since she was four years old, studying ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. She has studied at a Gus Giordano workshop in Chicago and has taken master classes with Maurice Hines, Ron Daniels, Bella Lewitsky, and the Alvin Ailey Repertory Company among others. Andrea also studied ballet with the Continental Ballet Company in Bloomington MN and tap with Dale Luna, Gracey Tune, and four years with Buster Cooper. After two years at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and three years at Texas Womans University, Andrea received her bachelors degree in dance, and two years later started her teaching career. She is currently in her 20th year at Pat Riddle and is the Performance Team Director. She believes it's a real blessing to be able to touch so many young hearts. She also believes hard work on technique and developing a joy for dance are equally important.
Candice Gouse
Candice has been studying and teaching dance for the past 20 years in Philadelphia and New York City.
She began performing in a professional company at the age of fourteen, when she was accepted as a junior company member in Dance Del Bello. Candice performed for 3 years with a professional regional modern company in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
She has performed parts in numerous classic ballets, such as the Snow Queen in Nutcracker, the Stepsister in Cinderella, the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol, the Fairy of Beauty in Sleeping Beauty and countless other roles in the corps de ballet.
Candice's ballet and modern training has branched from many styles and teachers from Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet, The Dance Conservatory, The University of the Arts, Alvin Ailey, Koresh Dance, and the Dance Institute.
She began teaching dance in 1999 in Pennsylvania. She has taught students from age 3 to adult in the subjects of ballet, modern, tap, jazz, partnering, and lyrical. Candice is excited to be the new ballet mistress at Pat Riddle School of Dance and will be instructing students in all levels of ballet from beginner to the advanced dancer.
Angie Losack
Angie Losack has over 26 years of dance experience with many award winning dance competitions and several outstanding awards. She started dancing at the age of 4. She went on to dance competitively at the age of 11. She began choreographing dances for her High school dance teams and School Musicals at the age of 15. She was awarded many awards for her technique, team leadership and choreography. She received an International Marketing degree from Texas Christian University with a minor in Dance. She has continued her dance education with classes at Brookhaven College. She went on to perform in a Professional dance company "The Jazz City Dance Force" for two years. Her dance instruction and choreography experience includes ballet, tap,jazz, gymnastics,lyrical/liturgical,aerobic dance and drill team for over 12 years. She was also a teacher of pre-kindergarten children at St.Michael's Academy. Her most prized possessions are her husband and 3 children - Lauren (8), Collin(5) and Jordan (2).
Kim McNulty
Kim McNulty who teaches the Junior and Senior Competition Team classes at Pat Riddle has her degree in education and teaches junior high school math in the public school system. Kim has been involved in dance for 38 years! She danced competitively for 10 years herself and has been teaching and choreographing dance routines for 20 years. She has traveled the states sending her award winning dance routines to national competitions and performances. She has choreographed gymnastics floor routines for 8 state champions and was a gymnastic state champion herself. Kim enjoys working with children and adults challenging them to be the best they can be!
Evan Moore
Evan Moore has been dancing since he was ten years old. Through his high school career Evan performed at many competitions as a member of an all male hip-hop team under the direction of Jeremy Keeton. He has also trained with many dancers and choreographers from around the world. Evan has performed with many organizations such as God's Country Kids, Kids 4 Kids and Radio Disney. He has also performed several times for the Dallas Desperados half-time show. Since high school, Evan began teaching at several studios in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Since then he has worked with the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and his choreography was featured in the 2006 National Charity League fashion show. Evan is excited about becoming a part of the Pat Riddle team and is eager to further his dancing career.
Lindsay Nemec
Lindsay Nemec received her Marketing degree from Texas Christian University. While attending TCU, she was a 4-year member of the TCU Showgirls Dance Team where she served as Captain her senior year. She also was a member for the TCU Showgirls National Competition Squad. When Lindsay is not dancing, she is a Marketing/Sales Representative for Accurate Medical Equipment.
Lindsay started her dance training at Joy's School of Dance in Waco, TX when she was 3. Her 15 years of studio training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, pointe, lyrical, and hip hop has given her a very diverse dance background. She has performed numerous times with Ballet Austin and has taken master classes from Rhonda Miller, Keith Clifton, and Jocelyn Dowling to name a few.
While in high school, Lindsay served as captain of her dance team for 3 years. During this time, she received numerous solo and duo awards, MA choreography award, and TATD Jazz Scholarship. She is also a two-time NDA Collegiate All-American and has worked for UDA as a choreographer, instructor and judge. In addition, she currently choreographs and provides workshops for area dance teams. Lindsay's passion and love for dance is shown through her unique, motivating teaching style and the philosophy that the phrase "I can't do it" is not a part of the dance dictionary!
Deedee Pietzsch
Deedee Pietzsch has over 20 years of dance training and performance experience. She has won several regional and national performance awards and also choreographed and instructed various routines. She was a group leader on the Cowley County Tigerette Danceline in Arkansas City, KS, where she assisted in the choreography and instruction of all routines. She was also a Line Officer with the Texas State University Strutters and assisted with the Junior Strutters camp. Deedee has studied under Shannon Werthmann, former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders choreographer and current Jazz Instructor/Musical Theatre Co-Director for Chamberlain Ballet Company, Todd Edson, formerly with Fort Worth Dallas Ballet, attended classes and workshops with L.A. Underground and Jump, Rhythm, Jazz Project. She won the “Leadership Award” at Texas State Strutters camp, “Best Performer” of Cowley County Community College dance line, “Best Performer” of Arkansas City High School Pom Squad, and was crowned Miss Junior Kansas 1993. Deedee is the former assistant drill team director for the Sun Dancers at Fossil Ridge High School.
Ryan Warren
Ryan Warren has been dancing since he was seven years old and has trained all over the nation from Dallas' The Centre to Los Angeles and New York at the Millenium and Broadway Dance Center from some of the nation's top chorepgraphers. In high school Ryan performed at many local venues such as Six Flags Over Texas, The Gaylord Texan, and many city carnivals and fairs. Ryan was also a featured dancer in the Miss Tennessee pageant for three years and performed at many Dallas Cowboy halftime shows including with R&B act Destiny's Child. After graduating high school, Ryan began teaching at several studios in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Since then he has choreographed for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in which they performed his dance at every home game. Also Ryan's choreography was featured on the international television show "Barney the Dinosaur." Currently Ryan is interning on the Adrenaline Dance Convention, under the direction of Jeremy Keeton, in which he travels around the Nation assisting choreographers from LA and setting up the shows. He is also the main hip hop instructor for the dance convention/competition Dupree Dance Enterprises. Ryan recently won a Best Choreography Award at the 2007 StarLight National Dance Competition for his routine "My Love".
Kelly Whitted
Kelly received her journalism degree from Texas A&M University where she also intensely studied jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, modern and choreography. She was a primary teacher, dancer and choreographer for the Dance Arts Society of Texas A&M. Aside from choreography, she performed in numerous faculty and student works showcased by the Dance Arts Society.
Kelly has been dancing for over 26 years and teaching for over 14 years. She began competing at the age of 10 and continued through out college. While she attended high school, Kelly started a Junior Competition Team at her hometown studio and began winning choreography awards at the age of 15. Over the past 20 years, Kelly has attended hundreds of workshops and conventions where she has been awarded as a performer and choreographer.
Kelly joined the Pat Riddle faculty in 2002 and was named Competition Team Director in 2004. Her work with the competitive teams have brought Pat Riddle numerous National Championship titles, choreography awards, scholarships for her dancers and local/national recognition. This year Kelly will be teaching jazz, tap, lyrical/modern, ballet and technique classes
Janie Williams
Janie began studying dance at the age of four. Since then she has been involved in the teaching field for over 25 years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, elementary physical education, and a certification in Dance. She was the Drill Team director for the Dixie Belles at Richland High School for three years and taught dance education classes at RHS for four years.
She also has studied tap with Dale Luna, Gracey Tune and Buster Cooper. Janie has been with Pat Riddle School of Dance for 10 years. “Once you develop a love for dance, it becomes a part of your life forever.”
