 Dancewear (all subjects including combo): Your child is welcome to wear any color or dance style of leotard, tights, shorts, or jazz pants.
Specialty Ballet classes must wear a dark leotard and pink tights.
Drill Team Technique classes must wear any color or style leotard and dance shorts or jazz pants.
Shoe Requirements
- Combination Classes (1 hour) - All Levels - black patent tap shoes and pink ballet shoes. No jazz shoes are required.
- Combination Classes (1 1/2 hour) - Level 1 - black patent tap shoes and pink ballet shoes. No jazz shoes are required. Level 2 - black patent tap shoes, pink ballet shoes, and black slip on jazz shoes. Level 3 and up - black jazz taps, pink ballet shoes, and black slip on jazz shoes.
- Tap Classes - black slip on jazz taps.
- Ballet Classes - pink ballet shoes. Boys require black ballet shoes.
- Jazz Classes - black slip on jazz shoes with split rubber sole.
- Lyrical classes - dance paws.
- Drill Team Technique classes - jazz shoes (any color).
- Hip Hop Classes - black dance sneakers.
PLEASE CHECK WITH THE STUDIO IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT ON WHICH SUPPLIES TO PURCHASE.
Please note that some students may be asked to spray paint their shoes at Recital time to match their costumes.
DANCEWEAR AND SHOES
Proper dancewear is required for all classes. Dancewear must be worn as it allows the student maximum movement with no restrictions. In order to achieve the professional atmosphere we desire, please comply with our request.
Black patent tap shoes must have the ribbons removed and replaced with tap ties. These ties are available for sale in the Studio Office. Having to tie shoes during class can be very time consuming for the instructor and dangerous for children if the shoes come untied.
The students should carry a dance bag so they can keep their shoes separate from others in the class. Please write the student's name on all supplies. Dance shoes and bags have been known to be mislaid.
